This terraced cottage is located in Sandsend near Whitby and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.

Teapot Cottage is a mid-terrace cottage in the seaside village of Sandsend near to Whitby. The cottage sleeps six people and has two double bedrooms, a bunks room and a family bathroom. On the ground floor is a fitted kitchen and a sitting room. Outside is off road parking and a small garden with outdoor furniture. Just a short stroll from the beach, Teapot Cottage is a lovely holiday home all year round.

The cottage was homely and well equipped for 4 adults and 2 children. The small footbridge over the stream followed by 22 steps to gain access made us feel we were in a special place away from suburbia.

Delightful Cottage and garden in a lovely, peaceful location.

Great location,disappointing cottage.
Stunning location close to beach, shop and pub. Very disappointing cottage. Kitchen is small with tiny fridge, cramped dining space and no dishwasher - a note saying a new one was on order was clearly old as previous guests commented on lack of one. Not particularly clean either. Random heating. Two radiators in total, otherwise plug in heaters and gas fire in lounge. Cosy lounge with seating for 4 realistically. Contacted the owner about the tepid shower that didn't drain, he said he would look into it. Upstairs is cramped. Access to one double room difficult as the door doesn't fully open due to the bed being there. Bunk bed room needs some heating and general updating. There isn't anywhere to dry washing or damp clothes....of which there is a lot when at the seaside with children! Overall, a very expensive cottage that deliv

The location was fabulous. Quiet yet a short walk to beach. It was a bonus that there was a sea view, albeit from an angle. Great info about getting there, how to work heating and TV etc. prior to arrival was really helpful. Lovely garden with lots of seating areas. Great heater in bathroom so towels always nice and warm. Lots of towels too. Says galley kitchen, but it was bigger than it looked in photographs.

Very pretty cottage in great location ,5 minutes to great sandy beaches.my dog loved them.the cottage was well equipped, except for no tin opener? Also arrived and no loo roll which was probably just a housekeeper error. Lots of wide steps to get luggage up so you need to be mobile, but that's why you get good views. The up stairs of the cottage is very cramped, one double room has no heating at all. One double room has just bed and fitted wardrobe. Three different types of heating but we were warm enough. But downstairs is roomy and bright for a cottage. Lovely garden to front and back. Ducks pheasants and a goat on village green all add to the charm.
