The Kingfisher Apartment is a delightful first floor apartment above a restaurant in the hamlet of Sandside, 1.2 miles from Milnthorpe. This apartment sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double with en-suite, a double and a twin, along with a bathroom. The apartment also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room. Outside there's allocated off road parking for one car in the restaurant car park and a patio with furniture. The Kingfisher Apartment is a lovely base for your Lake District getaway.

We have just had a fabulous winter stay at this superb Apartment overlooking the bay at Sandside. What superb views to waken up to each morning ! The apartment has everything you will need, comfortable lounge, fabulous large kitchen/dining area again all with views over the bay. Lovely bedrooms with underfloor heating in the en suite to the main bedroom. Ample space everywhere. The Restaurant downstairs is a bonus serving super lunches and evening meals. It has been an absolute pleasure.

Bright spacious apartment
We a family of four and one dog stayed here for three nights. Nice flat with everything you need. Great views from all rooms makes it bright and airy. The downstairs restaurant is a must too.

The view from all of the windows over the estuary was ever changing and stunning. The owner was on hand and very helpful if we needed to know anything.

The Kingfisher Apartment is a well appointed, roomy accommodation. The property has fantastic views. It is in a good central location. On our arrival we received a friendly welcome.

A Great Place
We had a lovely stay at the Kingfisher Apartment last week. A great apartment with a nice homely feel, amazing views from all rooms and in a perfect location for accessing the local villages and area, with a fantastic woodland great for walking in right behind the accommodation. We had gorgeous meals in the restaurant downstairs, one of the best meals I'd ever eaten! Very helpful and accommodating owners who were always available to help where needed, hope to return again another time.
