Excellent cottage : excellent site
My partner and I, together with our dogs Poppy and Sam, very much enjoyed our stay in May 2018. The cottage was very comfortable and furnished and equipped to a very high standard, including being extremely dog friendly with two fields for them to run around in! The farm is central to many places of interest, including Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. There is a good Chippy in the village but beware - the portions are very large! Thank you to Mike and Ruth for being so friendly and helpful (and for the lemon drizzle cake - the best). We would most definitely come again!

Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful landscape
Just spent a very relaxing week at the Hayloft. It was very peaceful and relaxing and we can't remember the last time we have been away on holiday and upon return home felt that we actually had a holiday. The grounds are very well kept and two large, enclosed and secure fields are ideal for dogs to be off lead. Mike and Ruth the owners, have two well behaved cockapoos and got on well with our Monty. The owners are very friendly and hospitable and had a welcome pack of all the immediate essentials, i.e. coffee, tea, milk and cleaning materials. The home baked Ginger cake was out of this world. The downstairs bathroom took a bit of getting used to but the views from the main bedroom windows compensated for this slight inconvenience. The lounge was equipped with a Dining table, comfy sofa , TV and Echo Alexa although her conversational skills left a bit to be desired. I would fully recommend Homefarm, Barton and the Hayloft.

A fantastic place, lovely owners & so much more.
Had a great time at the Hayloft over Christmas, the cottage is equipped with everything you will need and is beautiful inside and out. Really beautiful location in Somerset with so much to do and only 7 miles from the beach. It was an absolute treat for own dog, definately dog heaven. The owners Mike & Ruth are so friendly as are their lovely dogs I honestly can not think of anything negative.# We will return for sure.

Cosy and welcoming
From the minute we drove through the gates we knew we were going to enjoy our stay as we were greeted by the friendly owner and their dogs. The Hayloft was charming and even had treats for our dog as well as homemade cake for us! The location had stunning views and great walks nearby and was very handy for Cheddar Gorge and the lovely city of Wells. The Hayloft was very well equipped and comfortable and we would recommend it highly.

The Hayloft was spot on, with everything we could require and the owner was very welcoming and friendly.
