This first and second floor apartment is located above a convenience store in the village of Grange-over-Sands, and can sleep up to 10 people in five bedrooms.

Church view is a first and second floor apartment, set above a convenience store, in the village of Grange-over-Sands just two miles from Cartmel. The cottage sleeps up to 10 people and has three double bedrooms, one with an en-suite and one with a double sofa bed, plus two single bedrooms, and two bathrooms, one with a separate shower and Jacuzzi bath. Also in the apartment is a kitchen diner, a utility room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for two cars, an enclosed patio with furniture and secure, lockable bike storage. Situated in the Lake District, Church View is a lovely family holiday home all year round.


Disappointing sleep
This flat is absolutely great for position, plenty of space, big rooms and good facilities. I would make it a regular place to stay in a heartbeat EXCEPT the mattresses were so uncomfortable I hardly got any good sleep/rest. Can't believe nobody has mentioned this previously, 4 adults have all had the same experience on the main bedroom mattress and the doubles too. Ended up using the duvets as toppers to try to make it better. Would love to go back but not until the box spring rock hard mattresses have gone! Please let me know when they're changed! Most important thing for a holiday is to catch up on rest so please change them for decent ones, never slept in any hotel/apartment with such bad ones. Sorry. If you book take a topper with you and it's a great place!!!!

Such an ideal property for needs. The location is great, the property is spacious and the independent feel of the stay made us feel very relaxed! Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future!

Very spacious
There were seven adults and two young children in our party but there was loads of room for us to enjoy the property without feeling squeezed in. We had three cars and the property only provides two parking spaces so we had to pay ?30 to park one in the adjacent car park. However I had researched this before we went so it wasn't a nasty surprise The accommodation itself is very clean and contains all of the equipment you could need, including washer, drier, dishwasher and free sat tv. It even has a jacuzzi bath, which the kids loved. Grange over Sands is a lovely resort, providing easy access to the Lakes. We had some great days out including a visit to South Lakes Wildlife Park. We also had a cracking baker and butcher just up the road. I can honestly say this is a very good, well appointed property.

The apartment was spotless and well equipped, and all in our party were totally impressed. It is also very central to all the towns and villages in the area. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in and around Grange-over-Sands and it is such a beautiful place to visit.

We booked a family weekend away for 10 of us and this property was perfect. Wonderful decor, high spec kitchen, whirlpool bath, powerful showers and set over three floors. Great local amenities and only 20mins from Windermere. We all had a brilliant time and our only disappointment was missing out on booking this place for Christmas 2016!
