Great location
The cottage is ideally situated for visiting different places such as Aviemore and walking in the hills and the lovely lochs. The cottage is very comortable and has all the amenities one would require for a family holiday. The views from the cottage, even on a dull day are beautiful. I would recommend this cottage as a fantastic retreat or action packed holiday. I would certainly consider returning. Jennifer the owner is readily available for any information about good places for walks etc.

Three C?s - Clean,Comfortable and Cosy
I had read a couple of negative reviews so was slightly concerned. There was absolutely no need whatsoever as we found the cottage excellent. Everything worked and it was spotless. Perfect, peaceful and a beautiful location. The cottage had everything we needed for a lovely highland holiday. We self cater quite a bit and this cottage more than compared with other rentals we have stayed in. It was well equipped and the lay out suited us really well with a large open plan kitchen/diner. We look forward to a return visit in 2019.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday staying in this lovely place. Unlike a recent reviewer we have nothing negative to say about this holiday cottage. We arrived late Saturday afternoon and because the sun had been shining on the cottage all day it was very hot inside so the first thing we did was open ALL the windows without any problem. We found that all of the appliances we used during our stay were in good working order and the cottage was spotlessly clean. We particularly love the fact that the cottage is so peaceful and quiet yet is situated only a short distance from a number of little villages. We would not hesitate in returning to this cottage for another weeks holiday.

As with another recent reviewer, we arrived to find this cottage was in very poor condition. As with the other reviewer too, appliances did not work - the microwave was broken, and the dishwasher did not clean dishes. We were supplied with only 5 mugs/cups (the cottage has beds for 5 people), and with towels for only 3 people - we had paid the full price for a week's rental. As for the mugs? They had mould growing in the bottom, and several bowls and plates were caked in something or other. Black mould in the shower , and the bathroom smelled of it. Blood on the white blanket draped over one of the sofas in the lounge. Windows, apparently (according to the owner), swell in the rain. None of them opened. We were there in gorgeous weather so this was a real pity. As for the "patio", it is 4 flagstones at the bottom of the kitchen steps - even the small round table provided is too large for it. We paid nearly ?800 for the week and felt utterly ripped off.

Lovely cottage!!
