A beautiful, semi-detached cottage in Saundersfoot, with three bedrooms accommodating up to six people.

Rose Cottage is a wonderful, semi-detached cottage in the seaside town of Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire. The cottage can accommodate up to six people in three bedrooms; a king-size bedroom on the ground floor with an en-suite, plus a double bedroom and a twin room with two 2'6" beds that can be put together to make a king-size double on the first floor. There is also a family bathroom and back downstairs, a kitchen with a breakfast table seating four, a dining room and a sitting room. There is off road parking for two cars, a small garden at the front of the cottage, and a large lawned raised garden at the back, enclosed with a patio, furniture and a barbecue. With the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path offering a wonderful walking route along the coastline, Rose Cottage is a delightful Welsh holiday base for both friends and families.

Neglected property
Have rented properties for holidays in this area for many years, however in my opinion this property should not be re-let until the basics have been rectified. Roofing issues resulted in rainwater pouring in through sitting room ceiling around cabling (potentially dangerous) & also resulted in damp interior walls. Bathroom had extreme black mould problems. Very old central heating boiler, guests are shown how to remove the cover (safety issue) to frequently manually reset it. Majority of radiators not working. Rusted microwave (unhygienic), washing machine smelt awful, again a mould problem. So sad because if the basics are corrected this could be a perfect property

located up quite a steep hill to town centre(if you are not relatively fit),Good parking for 2 cars and is a very quirky cottage,,got told on arrival not to use the dishwasher as it was leaking, and there was a man coming out to look at the boiler as that was also leaking,(it seems it has been leaking since 2018 on reviews i have since read)Double bed upstairs was a good size if you are shorter than 6ft other wise your feet get stuck in the foot board.bedroom light didn't work when reported was told it just needs wiggling, upstairs bathroom toilet didn't flush properly,We had to contact the owner because we had no hot water, they came out straight away and told my husband where to locate a little button on the boiler you needed to press as it wasn't working properly, and the floor and rug were really wet where the boiler was still leaking.on the Friday i was using the upstairs bathroom to brush my teeth when my father in law shouted upstairs that there was a leak and it had knocked out the electric..Phoned the landlady again and she came straight away showing no empathy that we were clearly packing up and going home a day early,,, This property is quirky with mixed levels all over the cottage ,it needs its facilities updating i have never seen a boiler so old,,I will definitely not recommend and will not be returning,

Home from home
This quirky beautiful cottage is just amazing. As parents of teens having our own bathroom was invaluable and we just loved how well equiped and close to all the beautiful sites the cottage was. We will be back.

Very nice cottage
Rose cottage is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. Very clean and very well equipped with good quality furnishings. Nina met us on arrival and showed us around, she also provided tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes which was very nice after a long journey. Saundersfoot is a 5 -10 minute down hill walk, bit longer back as the hill is steep in places. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, we visited Bosherton Ponds and Pembroke Castle, we also took the walk through the tunnels to Wisemans bridge and back, this is a really nice walk and is fine if a member of your party uses a wheelchair. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would definitely come back to Rose Cottage
