Very dirty
I would not return here! This cottage needs a deep clean and some tlc! We arrived early evening and found the cottage to be very dirty with mould. Bathroom disgusting. Shower tiles and seals covered in body fat and dirt. Toilet not cleaned properly had traces of waste. Sink smeared with soap. Carpets covered in hairs, pet and human. Dust in all corners. Bed cheap and uncomfortable. We moved the Matress onto floor to get more support which meant moving the bed and underneath looked like it had not been cleaned in months. Hoover bag full and stinking so room smelled of sweaty feet once floor was hovered. Next day we found the electric off so had to go and seek out why from neighbours. It was off for the day and owner had be made aware via a lette but had not made us aware. We called Skyes to complain but as no electricity nothing could be done until that evening about cleaning. We went back that evening and spent about 1 and 1/2 hours making the cottage clean enough to be comfortable for the rest of the week. Owner sent someone around the following day but by that time nothing was left to clean! We got no apology and no compensation. Owner has ignored my correspondence regarding this matter and also it appears correspondence with Skyes who were trying to deal with the issue on our behalf. Everything looks tired and dirty. Fridge is old. There is only a small amount of crockery. Alot less utensils etc than I have found in other cottages. No nice touches such as washing up liquid and a bin bag. Kitchen, oven, side and back wall is new but looks cheap. Spend some time and money here and it could be lovely. Views are great but it's not enough!

Needs a deep clean!
Very disappointed to find that the owner needed to take a ?100 deposit for each booking, we sent the deposit by cheque and asked that it be returned to us. DISAPPOINTED TO FIND THE CHEQUE WAS RETURNED WITHOUT THE OWNER PAYING RETURN POSTAGE. WE HAD TO PAY A ? 2 SURCHARGE TO THE POST OFFICE - BUYER BEWARE IF YOU BOOK THIS PROPERTY. The property may have a new kitchen but the rest of the property looks dated, the toilet seat was loose and looking at previous posts has been like that for nearly a year, and the handles around the doors were dirty and there were dead flies on the staircase. It needed a deep clean. ! The French window was difficult to open and close due to its age.

This is a brilliant cottage with stunning views, and a great location for exploring North Wales.

A stunning location and an ideal cosy cottage for a relaxing rural break. The owners and housekeepers were both very friendly.
