Comfortable bungalow in beautiful setting
The bungalow was a real home from home, a good size and well equipped. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Views from the windows were stunning and we enjoyed watching the birds on the bird feeders. There are lots of walks from the village, including to Montacute House and Gardens (National Trust). A great place for a relaxing stay in the countryside.

Fantastic rural retreat
As lockdown rules were eased we wanted a holiday cottage which was rural but only a short drive from outdoor attractions - Little Orchard was perfect. The owners gave excellent communication and were kind and generous with their welcome pack and online advise. The house was spotlessly clean and recent renovations outside the property meant there was now off-road parking behind solid wooden gates. Alhough access to the property is via a narrow alleyway, you only have to drive a few metres and you can see the house ahead, so no possiblity of meeting any other car. My Honda Civic had no problems getting through. The property has fast internet and is extremely well equiped with everything you would need for a holiday away from home. A large garden wraps around the property making it very private and attractive to birds and nature. The uninterupted views from many of the windows is spectacular. Just a short walk away is The Masons Arms which serves excelent food (but is very popular so book ahead).

Lovely bungalow with fabulous views
The bungalow was welcoming and very well equipped. The kitchen diner was our favourite room, beautiful views over the countryside. We enjoyed eating breakfast watching the antics of the squirrels on the bird tables. The welcome pack the owners left was a lovely personal touch. We really enjoyed our stay. Montacute House just five minutes up the road is worth a viait as well.
