Beautiful Cottage
We've just returned home after a week spent in this beautiful cottage. It's hard to find any negatives if I?m honest! The location is brilliant, in historic Coalbrookdale literally two minutes walk from the River Severn and just a very short stroll to the Iron Bridge. The cottage has its own parking, a beautiful garden, great sized rooms and is amazingly well equipped. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It has central heating and a wood burning stove so it's wonderfully warm and cosy, and is decorated perfectly in keeping. The local co op is two minutes walk away and is open late, and the Dale End Cafe is just next door and does a smashing breakfast and pizza! We will definitely be back for a return visit. Highly recommended cottage if you want to visit the area!

Welcoming, warm and very central
Been to Brook Cottage for two years running. New owner this year, Beverly. She has added a lovely touch of colour to what was already a beautiful house. The beds are the most comfortable ones we have slept in. Kitchen and dining room very spacious and well kitted out. Brook cottage is just off the main Ironbridge rd so is quiet but so central. The bridge is just a short stroll away. Just across the rd is a well stocked Co-op supermarket. Many places to visit and a lot of them just a short drive away. Can recommend National Trust Attingham Park, the grounds are superb. A visit to Blist Hill Victorian town is a great day out for all the family and just 15mins away by car. We came back again this yr as we couldn't fit everything in one week. And Brook Cottage is a great place to come back to after a grand day out.

Perfect location for exploring Ironbridge and the surrounding area
A beautiful cottage in a great location - the parking space for two cars is fantastic as you are in Ironbridge and parking is not easy. The garden was a lovely aspect, and sitting on the patio each evening in the sunshine (we hit the hot week at the end of August) was divine. The quality of the furnishings was great, and the kitchen very well equipped. There were some nice complimentary toiletries, and we received a delicious bottle of wine on arrival. The only thing I would suggest for families or people staying in the winter months would be a TV package - I haven't been restricted to 5 channels for a long time! We were here in summer so out visiting the many beautiful places Shropshire has to offer, and walking to the great pubs with the dogs. However if it was a rainy day, or we were back early on a winter's evening we might want more of a choice. We will definitely book again sometime in the future.

The pictures of the cottage exterior do not do justice to the lovely private garden complete with dining area, as well as parking for two cars. Overall a very homely cottage which we would be happy to return to when next in the area.

The cottage was in a great location. It was a lovely cottage, very comfortable, with a great sitting out area and garden. It was well equipped and clean. The owners were very helpful. It is a lovely area.
