North York Moors Self Catering cottage, Witches Cottage, Helmsley, sleeps 4

A very imaginatively converted barn made this a very comfortable cottage. The quality of the finish and the choice of bedding was excellent. The underfloor heating was great. It is in a good position for visiting a range of places in the North York Moors and there was a pleasant outlook over fields and a pond. A quiet location.

Witches Cottage was all that was to be expected; it was beautifully furnished and appointed, and just as described and shown in the photos. It was in a lovely quiet spot on the owners farm and a real high quality, high spec' rural retreat. The countryside all around is beautiful with some lovely villages and towns to visit.

The whole holiday was a complete joy! The cottage was 5 star, everything about the place was immaculate, it has been sympathetically furnished with top of the range equipment and the owner was lovely. I would highly recommend this cottage to anybody looking for a great time. It was a delightful experience. The property offered so much space and the attention to detail was evident everywhere you looked. I would return there without hesitation.
