Filthy
I booked this cottage for two weeks. On arrival I discovered it was not as the pictures had shown the interior of this cottage to be on Sykes website. It was dark and filthy. The bright red settees and bright appearance of the living room was actually dull, damp with dark blue velour dirty settees. The skirtings were damaged and filthy throughout. The bowl in the kitchen sink had remains of food on the base. The bin was disgusting. I stayed until Tuesday morning and found elsewhere to stay. I reported the findings to Sykes. I voiced my concern that their pictures were nothing like the interior. I asked for a refund and even though the owners admitted it was dirty they said they would give me ?35 which then became ?150. I paid ?680 and stayed 3 nights. I?ll let u decide whether you would want to stay there

Stable Cottage was better than described and ideally located to explore the area. We took our two dogs with us and they loved the beaches particularly the one at Creswell which was about the closest. The owner was friendly and attentive, all in all a great few days away.

Stable Cottage was excellent. The owners were very attentive. The area is excellent as it is within easy reach of most of Northumberland. We fully recommend the site to anyone wishing to visit the county.

We spent a lovely weekend in Stable Cottage which we found to be an absolutely stunning place. The location was close to local amenities and the stunning beach and lovely country walks were on our doorstep. We would highly recommend the cottage and will return.
