Highly recommended
This cottage was the perfect base for our stay in Devon. Spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and with all the equipment needed for cooking. The Kingsize bed was a major plus point - we both slept very well. We loved the view from the large window and enjoyed watching a variety of birds come to the feeders.

Thoroughly recommend!
The cottage exceeded expectations. My wife is obsessed with cleanliness, and the initial arrival at a place of stay is always a nervy time for me (I?m the one who always books), as her reaction sets the mood for the duration of the stay. So we were both delighted with the immaculate presentation of the cottage. The lounge area is an absolute joy to relax in, with a very comfortable almost fully reclining sofa and huge tv if you're having an evening in. The hot tub was great to unwind in after all our days hiking (we hadn?t anticipated the weather to be so good so decided to make the most of it!). The cottage is located near enough everything but still felt out of the way and secluded. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Brixton, we would thoroughly recommend a week or longer here!

Comfortable, modern holiday accommodation in a ideal location, lovely views.
Northlands Cottage suited us very well - the views over the meadows and beyond were amazing, also the wildlife was on our doorstep. The owners Jackie and Dave were so hospitable and welcoming to us. We had everything we needed for the 6 weeks we were there. We would visit again in the future.

Great apartment.
The cottage is a 1st floor apartment in the grounds of a larger house. It is a lovely apartment, thoughtfully furnished and equipped. The village of Brixton is charming and a great centre for discovering South Devon, Plymouth, Dartmoor, Looe etc. We especially loved our visit to Saltram House and grounds [National Trust], just 20 minutes away by car and a wonderful Beryl Cook exhibition in the Plymouth Council House. The owners were great, welcoming and helpful. The nearest pub,10 minutes walk away, does very good food. We look forward to returning to Northlands and the area.

Home-like relaxing accommodation.
My fianc?e and I wholeheartedly enjoyed our stay at northlands cottage. Even the large amount or rain couldn't spoil our stay. This cottage is ideally situated for exploring Plymouth, Paignton etc. The building work adjacent to the cottage didn't cause a disturbance which was initially of concern but it did make the drive rather muddy when walking to the local pub. All in all We look forward to our next stay at Northlands cottage to continue our discovery of what Devon and Cornwall has to offer.
