Nice quirky property
The property is in a great location situated in the centre of town. I liked the lay out and style of the conversion. Plenty of hanging space for clothes and the bathroom was a nice size. Having said that, the place could do with sprucing up. Especially the carpets as they are badly stained. A couple of issues though! This let is described as dog friendly with off road parking However....... Dogs are not allowed in the living area, which is upstairs, this did cause a problem as our dog is used to spending time with the family. NOTE: The drive way is shared with the neighbour, there is only space for a "regular sized" car, luckily I managed to swap cars with a colleague. A Mazda 6 just managed to fit. It's a bit tricky to reverse in especially if cars are parked on the road outside the gates.

Good location but
When we entered the property we were met by a large on the stain carpet, The rest of carpets throughout property was not to standard expected.Upstairs bedroom was fairly basic with one hanging rail we expected a wardrobe and chest of drawers to say the least from 4 star property. Both Velux windows had issues, one had broken blind hanging down and handle, the other had a crack across the glass- additionally we weren't able to open this window. We felt disappointed in the quality of the property and general maintenance felt sub-standard for any holiday letting, let alone 4 star

Owner needs to be more hands on
Stayed here for a week in mid May. Experience was poor. Boiler broke down four times during our stay meaning no hot water. Property lacks many basic essentials. No teapot, bread knife, bread bin, washable chopping board, towel rail in bathroom, etc. Carpets were badly stained and off putting. Reversing a car even a small one into the cramped entrance to the driveway is difficult. Communicated our complaints to both the agent and the owner. Owner admitted not having been in the property for nine months. Having paid ?453 for the week it was not worth it. Stayed in a brand new 2 bed barn conversion in mid Wales same week last year for ?375. Not even the offer to refund cost of phone calls to the owner while we were there. Apparently new boiler to be fitted but that does nothing for us. Would not stay here again
