This wonderful cottage is situated on the edge of Ribchester village and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.

Sherburne Cottage is a quality, end-terrace holiday home situated in a courtyard setting, on the edge of Ribchester. This cottage sleeps four people and has two bedrooms, both with en-suite walk-in showers - a super king-size double and a twin. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area and sitting area with woodburner.

Outside there's off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with patio, hot tub and furniture. Sherburne Cottage is a superb base for couples and small families.

Perfect cottage, great location
This was our 2nd visit to this cottage, we first stayed in November 2018 (forgot to review). The cottage is kitted out to a high standard, plenty of room for the 4 of us, both bedrooms have en-suite wet rooms. We all loved the hot tub (bath robes provided) which was used whenever we were back in the cottage. We didn't use the log burner during our 2nd stay as they cottage was warm enough with the underfloor heating. Some logs are provided which is enough for a fire for 1 night so you will need more logs if you want another fire. There are books and dvds for you to use and we loved the Tassimo coffee machine, coffee and tea pods are provided. Whilst there are other cottages around you, it still feels isolated as all the other guests when we have been there have been respectful of everyone else. A good central location for things to do and places to visit or if you just want to have a leisurely stroll around Ribchester village centre(10 min walk) and the roman ruins, there is also a great playground in the village centre which my children loved. The Ribchester arms is only a 10 minute walk away which serves good food and drink, The Potters Barn (see review) serves excellent breakfast and lunch. There is also a Spar in the village for any items you might need otherwise Longridge is only 10 minutes away, we get a takeaway from there on our first night to save us cooking. The Inn at Whitewell is about 20 minutes away and i would recommend a visit as it serves excellent food, we always go when staying here. We have only been back a day but are already looking at dates for our next visit, we are considering going with friends to one of the larger cottages but part of us wants to keep this place a secret to us as we enjoy it so much

Amazing amazing amazing
A brilliant week in these cottages. Photos didn?t do it justice - a beautiful and spotlessly clean cottage with great facilities - the hot tub was a favourite with my 7 and 3 year old! And the owner couldn?t have been more helpful - inviting my son up to sit on his tractors (a big highlight for him!) and suggesting things to do and places to visit. Great location with lovely pubs within walking distance. And loads in the area. Couldn?t recommend enough.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings.
Just come back from a week at Sherburne Cottage in Ribchester in the Ribble Valley. On arrival it certainly has the wow factor, very well presented and equipped. Lovely wood floors, plenty of windows for scenic views over Lancashire. Very spacious, photos don't do it justice, fully equipped kitchen with drinks chiller, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine etc and also utility with toilet, washing machine and storage. Upstairs 2 excellent sized bedrooms, 1 super king size very comfy bed with en suite wet room and the other a good sized twin again with its own en suite wet room. The design has been really well thought out. Outside lovely patio with table and chairs over looking the valley and a lovely hot tub to chill out in. Kids were made up with smart tv and wifi. It's a 10 minute walk into Ribchester which is a lovely village, great food at the Ribchester Arms. The village has a Spar, children's play area, football field and basketball court all in well kept condition and next to Potters Barn for lovely ice cream. Clitheroe is a 15 min drive away, a lovely town with nice shops and cafes. Would definitely recommend Sherburne Cottage, worth every penny. A very relaxing break.

Fabulous weekend away!
Stayed here with my husband and friends for a weekend away. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the accommodation - the photos don't do it justice. It was immaculate with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was a nice touch - which we used each night.
