Peak District Self Catering cottage, Fieldside, Crich, sleeps 6

Great location with field views.
A cottage full of character, massive TV (too big) great views. Small garden but a good sun trap. The fish and chip shop in Crich serves the biggest fish in the world (probably). Very comfortable 2 weeks.

Beautiful Derbyshire Retreat
The cottage is situated on the edge of the beautiful Derbyshire village of Fritchley, overlooking fields and near many attractions and walks. The beds and sofas were all very comfortable and, on the whole, the cottage was very well-equipped and scrupulously clean. The TV is quite out of our technological league, with many different channels and settings;the kids were in their element. I have awarded four stars not five only because there was only one toilet and there were six of us, although that might not matter to everybody. We did have a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful cottage
We came here for three nights over Christmas and were unsure what to expect...we couldn't have been more delighted! The owners had put up a little tree, a wreath on the door and a bottle of Buck's Fizz, a poinsettia and a panettone were awaiting our arrival. The property is really high spec with everything you could possibly need for your stay. It was immaculately clean, the beds were lovely and comfortable and the views from every window are fab. We ventured out for the occasional walk but we're so happily ensconced that we were quite content sitting in front of the log burner enjoying cheesy Christmas telly and playing board games. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed, highly recommended!
