Perfect cottage
This was our first stay somewhere since lockdown and I can't fault it in any way. Measures have been put in place to make sure everyone is safe from entering to leaving. Right from booking to checking out the communication with the hosts was outstanding. The cottage itself is faultless. Decorated beautifully, every kitchen utensil you would need for cooking a meal, games, books & big selection of DVDs. Perfect location for popping into town - literally a minute walk and you're in the centre. We will definitely be back to stay at this wonderful cottage.

Amazing cottage
Best place to stop if you want to be close to all the shops & last of the summer wine locations. Walking distance to the chip shop and a massive co op (perfect for your food shopping). Cosy cottage big enough for a family of 3. Love the cosy kitchen even with the steep stairs and beds were so comfy and warm.

I shouldn't be say this, however.....
First time stay in Holmfirth. Stayed here for a week. Quite location. Easy parking. Just a few minutes walk in centre and very close to all amenities. Local buses just minutes away serving Huddersfield/ Wakefield etc. Coomes Hill Cottage was a dream. Cosy and quite compact but a lovely feel about the place. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Everything you might look for in retreat. Can?t disagree with any of the reviews here on trip advisor. Just the steepness of the kitchen stairs as one reviewer mentioned might be a challenge if you have difficulty with mobility? Other than that enjoy this gem of a property. Loved our stay here and we'll be back, that's for sure!

Little Gem
Just spend a lovely few days in this wonderful home from home. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need and more, even torches to help you see home in the dark. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend

Great little cottage in gorgeous Holmfirth
Thank you to Rebecca and David for our holiday in your little cottage. They are the best hosts, the cottage was beautifully equipped and furnished and very warm at all times. Holmfirth is a place that you immediately miss when you leave it; there is always something more to do and it is impossible to be bored there. Parking is not always possible outside the cottage but is available just down the road in a cheap car park. Love all the little independent shops in Holmfirth, some of which only come to light on walking through the narrow streets and ginnels. Holmfirth Spice is the best take-away ever. We will be back
