This first floor studio apartment is located in the delightful village of Romaldkirk and can sleep two people in one bedroom.

The Hay Wain is a first floor studio apartment located in the delightful village of Romaldkirk and can sleep two people in one king-size double day bed. The open plan studio also contains a minimal kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the outside there is off road parking for one car and a shared lawned garden. Situated within walking distance of the local pub and with walks and cycling opportunities in the area, The Hay Wain would suit a couple looking for a romantic break away in rural location.

Compact, comfortable and just right for 2 with a dog.
The property is small but has everything you need for cooking in a couple of cupboards. Light and airy the temperature is always just right with under floor heating and velux windows. Very clean, especially the bathroom, and easy to keep tidy because of the hidden storage areas. Even the dog was happy with a basket and treats provided, and a large secure garden for him to romp in. Very warm welcome from the owner and a lovely welcome hamper of wine, local bread, biscuits and honey, eggs, butter and milk. Good TV reception (not always the case in this area!) and Wifi. Good if you like walking, near to Barnard Castle, Hawes, Yorkshire Dales, and the Lakes. Quiet location but beautiful scenery and views.
