A Great Detachment from Regular Life
We arrived here last week to be welcomed to a lovely warm cottage. A home made cake and majority of the household supplies we would of needed for the week. The cottage is well equipped for everything. The kitchen is massive and ideal for those family cooked meals at the table. Views are stunning all around and owners are very nice. The only thing i can gripe at is the amount of things to do are a minimum of an hours drive away. Brecon station 1 hour 10. The farm for children 1 hour 20. After the week there i didn't want to do any driving. Make sure you take yourself some board games and a deck of cards for the rainy days... The only thing i found a little uncomfortable about the whole trip is on check out day we were running a little behind schedule. Nothing silly like an hour, we had to check out at 10 and we left at 10:10 but for the last 15 mins of packing up to go the owner sat outside waiting for us to leave... really made us feel uncomfortable we had 4 kids and both wives are heavily pregnant. So we struggled a little. It was totally unnecessary. But i would highly recommend the cottage. There is also a Tesco about 15 mins drive from the cottage or a Nisa store in Kington town. Avoid all the take out because they were woeful.

Comfortable, clean and welcoming.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a wonderful, quiet location away from any traffic? fields of crops and sheep all around, the views from every room are stunning. The kitchen is huge and well equipped with everything you need for a holiday stay, with seating for eight at the table. The living room was very comfortable, and the bedrooms were spacious with very comfy mattresses. The whole house is clean and well decorated, and nicely furnished throughout. There were plenty of things to do locally, and lots of attractions around an hours drive away. The free WiFi at the property was very helpful in finding things to do, and the owners had kindly supplied a wide range of leaflets and information on various attractions in and around the area. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and easy to contact if needed, and were happy to recommend things to do and places to visit. We would definitely recommend staying at this holiday house and wouldn?t hesitate to return for another stay here if we were visiting the area again.
