Loads of character
Quirky house full of beds , bedrooms and 2 bed sitting rooms Sea view from the top bed sitting room. But small kitchen. Without enough common space for the eight people it will sleep unless the sun is shinning. You will either trip over each other or hang out in the bed sitting rooms. Fine for family or close friends. We were a party of three. Loads of character nicely furnished and fitted out. Smelled stale and a touch damp when we arrived first week in October after it had been shut up for a week. Lean too conservatory pissed in water when it rained to the extent the owner had rigged a gutter under the worst leaks in the lean too conservatory leading to a bucket which filled over night. This is the principle common area. Utility room next to the conservatory was damp. And they need to replace some double glassing units on the top floor which have ?blown?. Kitchen had only the basic utensils for 8 people. Ie roast dinner just doable but forget baking a cake. (Yes I wanted to bake a birthday cake) Loved the stone walls, carpets ( a little worn but quality ) loved the solidity of the building, the way the two cottages had been opened into one with one thin door way on the first floor and the quality 1970?s conversion on the top floor. Loved the the location, and the shabby chic furniture. Very nice choice of interior colours . Plumbing was most excellent but a little noisy down stairs near the kitchen. Good shower upstairs and nice bath. There is only one bathroom, and one en suite on the top floor. There is one smart tv in the top floor bed sitting room. Parking is inconvenient but workable. We enjoyed our stay enormously , hope you do too.

Superb Cottage
This cottage is everything good that everyone says about it and more, it housed our family of 5 adults & 3 Kids ranging from 7 - 16 perfectly for a week, its clean, quirky, practical, and a great base for days out on the Jurassic Coast

Tree Tops is a beautiful cottage, really well equipped and deceptively spacious. The location is wonderful too. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous cottage, beautiful location - recommended
The cottage itself is beautiful and really well equipped. The layout is unusual - originally two small cottages that are now linked - but the space is deceptive. From the photos we were expecting something much smaller (it's usually the other way around) and actually there was more than enough space for our family of four. We had a spare room and plenty of communal space. Comfortable beds, all mod cons, good shower (always a plus), tastefully decorated in keeping with the age of the building. This was a really lovely place to stay. Having the beautiful garden was a bonus too. There are sea views from the rooms at the top, and also from the bottom of the garden. The location is also wonderful, it's a short but steep walk down to the cove and there are nice walks in both directions along the cliff path. Highly recommended.
