This excellent, ground floor holiday home near Belper sleeps two people in one bedroom.

Rose Cottage is a beautiful, semi-detached holiday home set in the extensive grounds of the owner's home, alongside another property, Hazel Cottage. With all ground floor accommodation, including eco-friendly underfloor heating, the property comes with a super king-size double bedroom (which can be converted to a twin on request), perfect for a couple. There's also a contemporary bathroom with both a designer bathtub and a separate walk-in shower, and a sociable open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Wide folding doors open onto the private patio and large shared grounds offer lovely views and a shared Arctic BBQ (with a bag of charcoal - one visit per booking, on a first come, first served basis - please contact owner directly to book), which is a very cosy place to enjoy an evening's entertainment. There's also ample off road parking available, but you'll find excellent public transport links and walk from the door. Rose Cottage is a superb choice for your special getaway.

What an amazing cottage. My partner and I stayed for 3 nights for a mini couples get away :) we were warmly welcomed. What I liked most about this cottage was it's contemporary feel! Everything had been thought of carefully from the small little touches like milk in the fridge ready for us, chocolates on the bed, complimentary toiletries, smart TV, enormous bath! Along with a lovely tea set with biscuits absolutely perfect for a romantic trip with my partner. The host was even so kind as to put out an ice bucket with complimentary prosecco! Just divine and we were both very grateful. Most hotels don't show such lovely touches as this! We both enjoyed taking a trip to the local pub, the black boy in, a short walk away and there was a local coop only a mile or 2 away in the car so we could purchase a cream tea. I will look back fondly on our stay and thank the owners of Rose cottage for a perfect break!

Delightful, modern cottage furnished and fitted to the highest standard. We were made very welcome by the owner and thoughtfully provided with a lovely welcome pack. The cottage was well situated with regards the Peak District. A place to visit again

We felt like the cottage was remote, even though its location wasn't. It was very quiet and relaxing. It was a well equipped cottage. The property was small but we were pleased private garden and access to communal gardens, which were very nice.
Mr Kydd

The property was superb and every attention had been given to detail - it was quality through & through.
Mrs Nally

A faultlessly presented property with all of the amenities you could need. Highly recommended.
