Quirky, pet friendly remote cottage
We spent a week here with our 2 dogs. The property was a cosy, relaxing oasis & provided every thing we needed. It is old & quirky but very comfortable. I can imagine it being lovely in winter with the 2 log burners but it was great in summer with the lovely garden & beautiful surrounding countryside. The property has stunning views. Accept that a stay here is seclusion. It has wifi that can be intermittent & slow & there is no mobile phone signal. We welcomed the escape & peace & quiet of rural living! The TV has plenty of channels with good reception if you don't want to escape completely! There are plenty of walks right from the property. In fact you could walk for miles. The only downside is that dogs have to be on a lead as there are sheep everywhere . We found this quite restricting. We also found the styles weren't dog friendly either. Be prepared to embrace a slower pace of life as you can't get anywhere quickly! All the roads within a 5 mile radius are single lane roads & tracks which made driving around interesting! Ludlow is a must & you could easily spend a day or two exploring the wonderful town. There are also some good pubs around which are listed in the property. A fantastic, get away from it all holiday home.

rustic very rural cottage
Location is out in the sticks, but the views are far reaching when you get there. Good for walkers. Old and new, quirky d?cor. Wet room very nice. Kitchen lacking some basics and microwave (as in details) missing. Small TV in lounge. Large carpeted bathroom. Some finishing such as painting of skirting in loo would set the property off better. White sofas so take some throws to avoid marking. No info regarding running of cottage and no details of local attractions. Don't know if a fire extinguisher should be present? Garden not totally dog proof. Quite pricey. If you want to be away from it all then this may be a place for you. Low opening windows upstairs so keep an eye on younger children up there.
