Centrally located, well equipped with parking and a view
We could not have wished for a better located apartment - a restaurant next door, a supermarket under 5 minutes walk away and all the other amenities and shops of Bakewell within easy reach. Our first impression of the apartment was the size - really spacious. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen seemed to have plenty of equipment. There were some small packs of biscuits, milk in the fridge and toiletries in the bathroom. There is a seating area on the mezzanine floor accessed by a spiral staircase. The bedrooms are not on this floor, so there is no need to struggle up with bags. Perhaps the choice of a cream sofa was unwise for a rented apartment, as it inevitably has some marks on it, but everything was clean and good quality. (We wanted to take the kettle home with us, as they no longer seem to make that model.) The wifi worked, as did the TV (important for a football-loving husband when England were playing in the Euros). Having parking close at hand was a bonus, as was the lovely view over the river.

Great Location for an apartment
Had a lovely stay over New Year. Bakewell was incredibly busy during the day so was excellent to be so centrally located but it was super peaceful at night. Lovely large apartment with great views of the river, very comfortable and kitchen excellently stocked. Only negative was no hairdryer and in certain areas a little worn in places but really enjoyed our stay.

What a FANTASTIC apartment....
This apartment was fantastic, private off road parking for one car, one flight of internal stairs up to it and when you get inside it is BEAUTIFUL,its huge and open plan, it has everything you could need for your stay, we stayed one week and did not want to leave, the views from the lounge look out over the river and across into Bakewell were fabulous and just a few minutes stroll away from lots of lovely restaurants and shops and pubs and some really good walks from your doorstep. We would really love to stay here again and will wait to see if there are any available dates for next year. The bedrooms were very quiet with comfy bed and plenty of storage. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of storage space too. The bathroom was lovely but the shower head needed replacing as it only sent water out from the centre of the head in a dribble but when we told the lovely owner on the day that we left she thanked us for letting her know and said she would replace it for the next guests. We absolutely loved every minute that we spent there, even on the two rainy days it was great just to sit and watch the animals on the river from the stools at the windows. FANTASTIC Thank you for a great stay x
