Peach cottage
Great location, clean, comfortable and well equipped but a few downsides. The property is set back from the road so parking can be an issue although we we were lucky. Access to front door is up two flights of steep and uneven steps. Not suitable for small children or anyone with mobility issues. The property is on 3 storeys and you enter directly into living room. Smelt a bit damp and we never used it. The stairs again are very steep and narrow and take you into the kitchen. This is well equipped and next to the dining room which has lovely views and a sound system so was nice to relax in. The bathroom is off the kitchen which may not suit everyone. The bath is raised up and makes access difficult as there is a huge step into and out of it. Again not suitable for small children or anyone with mobility problems. I?m 5ft 7 and struggled to get in and out bath safely. Plenty if towels, hot water and a good shower though. A further steep staircase from the dining room leads to the two bedrooms. The double room at the front has lovely views. There are no wardrobes but a few hooks in rear bedroom. Take some coat hangers though. There are drawers for storage though. Beds very comfy and bedding is good quality and very clean. Overall this is a lovely property for the right people and we had a great time in beautiful Whitby.

Lovely seaside town house in a great location
We spent a week here during February and loved it. Very family friendly. Even though it was a cold February the house was very warm and comfortable. All of the rooms are well sized and furnished to a high standard. The house is in an excellent location! It is is right next to the harbour and a very short walk to the main shopping area, with plenty of pubs and restaurants. We really enjoyed going to the Middle Earth Tavern a few minutes down the road, and mister chips (the BEST fish and chips!). It is also a short drive to various other beautiful beaches and places of interest. We recommend Falling Foss for walking. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely stay there again. Thank you for having us!

Fantastic Accomodation in an ideal location
Our family stayed here for four days and enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was excellent with so much to offer. Really good beds, huge amount of information for surrounding area, and how to control or run all aspects of the house. We found the location to be really ideal for touring around Whitby, with a short walk into the town, the Abbey and the harbour. As a family the kitchen provided everything that we needed, the beds were so comfortable and we also found the neighbours very helpful in guiding us to key locations. Once parked up, we didn't need the car at all. I would also suggest visiting North Yorkshire Moors Railway, because this can offer steam trains from Whitby to many other locations, and as far as Pickering. So much fun and so much to see at each train station and surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this for a long weekend all the way to a summer holiday. We will be visiting again, without doubt.

Lovely weekend getaway
The cottage is beautiful, very homely and welcoming. There was everything there that was needed in the cottage for w wonderful weekend away. The location is great and only a short walk into the town where there are lots of good places to eat and explore. I had to leave the car a short walk away, but once it was parked up we didn?t need it the rest of the weekend and it was possible to stop outside the house for a short time to unpack/pack. I would definitely recommend the cottage to any friends wanting to visit Whitby.

Cosy, welcoming cottage in a great spot.
Arriving on a cold evening in January, the cottage was warm and welcoming. It was a short walk to town for fish and chips and to the Pavilion complex where we had tickets for a concert. On the way back we just followed the string of lights that follow the estuary and end at the house! Really comfy beds and everything we needed for a restorative stay.
