Beatuiful cottage and location
Having spent a lovely week in this cottage we have already booked for next year! The cottage is situated out of town giving beautiful views and surroundings, but only a few miles away is the local village with pub, convenience store and Fish and Chip shop and nearest beach only 4 miles away. The cottage itself is well equipped, spacious and beautifully furnished to give a real Devon Cottage feel. Hugo, our dog loved running round the garden and going on walks to the ponds just the other side of the garden.

A beautiful cottage, the perfect retreat from day to day stress!
We have had the pleasure of holidaying in Cedar Cottage twice now, firstly for a long weekend and then, enjoying it so much, for a week later in the year. The facilities and the equipment supplied is first class, making for a relaxed stress-free break. The rural location is both peaceful and relaxing, with delightful walks in the large grounds. Plus the sunsets are fabulous ! I can highly recommend this cottage.

Cosy Bright Cottage.
Have just returned from a holiday at Cedar Cottage. As other reviewers have said, very spacious, lovely hot shower, comfy bed, and a great garden, with view, to enjoy a few drinks after a long day walking along the coastal path. Cream tea was greatly appreciated on arrival. However, unlike other reviews, Cottage could have been cleaner. Tried to vacuum place on arrival, but had to contact housekeeper, as hose was completely blocked! This may sound trivial, but, as a dog friendly Cottage, you want to keep it clean. But problem was quickly resolved. That aside, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Small shop in Woolsery Village, be warned, very expensive. Good coastal walks, make use of the info in Cottage, two small fold up maps, were brilliant. Have never seen a more detailed and easy to use map! Would recommend this Cottage to anyone. Just a footnote. Why is it that you have a dog friendly place, with signs all around asking you to tidy/clean up after your dog, but no dog bins are provided? You are supposed to put all rubbish in Black sack. Would not want to do that, might make Cottage a bit smelly! This is not the only place we have noticed this. Don?t let this put you off, though..

Needed a weekend break with my friend and our daughters and couldn't have wished for a more idyllic cottage. The interior of the cottage is beautiful with all you could need for a holiday. The spiral staircase is quirky and adds to the beauty of the cottage. Even with four adults there was plenty of space for us all. As expected the weather in November was not brilliant but we managed some lovely walks around the cottage and a windy day in Bude. Then back to our lovely retreat for food, wine and board games. What a lovely way to spend our weekend and no WIFI meant plenty of conversation. Will definitely be going back soon. LOVELY.

Perfect get away cottage in a beautiful location in Devon.
I spent a lovely sunny weekend in May at this idyllic cottage with my husband. How lovely to arrive to cream tea for two and evening sunshine! The cottage was a perfect place to relax and unwind with lovely finishing touches to the interior decor. Having read through the local tourist information available at the cottage we decided to spend Saturday visiting Clovelly and we were enthralled! What a spectacular place with amazing views, a variety of places to eat and crab sandwiches to die for! We followed this with a glass of wine whilst watching the sun set over the grounds and garden, just perfect! Can't wait to return
