Good luck
Grubby and neglected house when we were there- and not in the best part of Ludlow- in fact on the main road and bus route out of the town. Hopefully cleaner for future occupants. Discuss with Sykes Cottages before renting

This property was spot on for its location. If one is travelling by train it is convenient for the station and the town. However, the holiday was ruined because the property simply was not a comfortable place to stay in. Two important expectation from my holiday were relaxation and a comfortable nights sleep. Neither was achieved The wooden chest/sofa in the lounge had a hard cushion that wasnt condusive with lounging. The sofa was within keeping with the rest of the aged furniture and added to the general atmosphere of the aged property but one should not forgo comfort at the expense of fixtures and fittings. The bed lacked a headboard or other means to prevent the pillows falling on the floor. I expected to have my head supported on pillows during sleep so it was annoying to be woken up in the middle of the night to find myself flat on my back minus the pillows. If these two problem could be fixed I would give the property a good review.
