Gardeners Cottage is a lovely Devon retreat in a beautiful flower garden on the edge of the Dartmoor village of South Zeal. The cottage sleeps four in two downstairs bedrooms with shower room. On the top floor is a big sitting room and a kitchen with dining area.
Outside is an enclosed garden with views and use of trampoline and tree house in the owner's? garden. With the village inn just 200 yards along a footpath, Gardeners Cottage is a super base for enjoying a Devon holiday.

A hidden Gem
What can I say about this place ? There are not enough positive adjectives in the dictionary to describe it.
Beautiful spot, very quiet no mobile phone signal = bliss !! The cottage does have wi-fi
It's dog friendly and the location on the edge of Dartmoor is suburb.
All of Devon's places to visit are more or less within easy reach and there are two cracking pubs within walking distance.
The cottage itself is well equipped and clean and tidy anyone stopping here will not be disappointed and the owner is fab
I can?t recommend this place enough and reading through the visitors book everyone else agrees
One of England's hidden Gems from Stuart and family keep up the good work
Ps the garden and butterflies were a sight to behold
