Fantastic cottage in the Forest of Dean
Perfect. Absolutely loved everything about this cottage. Everything was to the highest standard. The property owners have thought of everything and make their guests feel valued and welcome. Totally pet - friendly too. The beautiful Forest of Dean is literally all around you and so many wonderful attractions close by. Thank you so much for a truly fabulous few days. Hope to return soon.

Excellent home away from home
My family and I stayed at 3 Crown cottage for 3 days as a getaway. It is situated deep in a woodland area, with a few adjacent houses and a road in front. The entrance is through the back, which may be slightly slushy with heavy rain. But the house and all its amenities were of top standard. It had a lovely rustic feel with the wooden floors, stable like doors, stone walled living room and wood burning fire stove. The owners have kept the rustic feel of the house, yet it is equipped with modern technology from TV and WIFI to a Nest thermostat central heating. There was a warm welcome package of cake, bread, butter, milk and juice, a wide selection of teas and coffees. The house was meticulously clean. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a good selection of games, books and colouring activity for kids. The beds were comfortable and spacious. The under floor heating in the bathroom was welcoming in the mornings. The one and only downside to the property was that there was no cell phone connectivity in the area, which the owners have advised to use Skype or whatapp calls from the WIFI, if needed. There is a common BT telephone booth, about 50 yards from property, which can be used in case of emergency. The property is situated close to several places (Beechenhurst lodge with trails and Go ape climbing activity, Puzzlewood, a cycling centre and Perrygrove railway) for kids to visit and enjoy. On the whole, we had an amazing holiday and we highly recommend this lovely cottage!

Lovely cottage in the middle of the Forest
We spent a week in the cottage recently and loved it. The owners really have tried to think of everything, and it is probably the best equipped cottage I've ever stayed in. All the booking and key collection arrangements were very well organised and the really detailed information pack meant that there was no guesswork about how to work the cooker, washing machine etc. We also appreciated the list of nearby places to eat, several of which we tried & all were excellent. The cottage is beautifully decorated, very clean and very comfortable. The beds were really comfy and the rain shower in the downstairs shower room was great. The weather wasn't very kind to us while we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the lovely garden as much as we would have liked. A pair of lesser spotted woodpeckers visited a few times which was an added bonus. The property is within easy travelling distance of all the Forest of Dean activities as it's on the road through the middle of the Forest. That does mean that there is occasional road noise but we didn't find it ntrusive - the wandering flock of sheep was noisier than the cars! I wouldn't hesitate to book in the future.

Beautifully kept cottage in the heart of the Forest of Dean
Beautiful cottage in idyllic location. The cottage itself is finished to a very high standard, with luxurious comfort in mind and EVERYTHING thought of. Perfect area and base to take the dogs for long walks in the Forest of Dean, just a step outside the back door. Would definitely return and would recommend highly to anyone.

Cottage in Cannop no 3
When we arrived after a heavy day moving house, as we stepped inside my husband said 'this is just what we needed'! Everything was perfect, fresh loaf of bread, butter, jams, milk and juice! The garden was so pretty too. Inside everything has been well thought out, with quality items. Upstairs was even better, with comfy beds and tasteful decor, the bathrooms were lovely too. The washing machine was added bonus for a washing freak like me! We were only 4 miles from home but it was just what we needed before we started our self build. A ****
