Lovely place bad customer service
Had a lovely weekend for my birthday celebrations with family. Accidentally left an expensive jumper when we left and asked the owner to return. He said he asked the cleaner to post it this was the 1st of march. I have recently ordered things from over seas and they have arrived perfectly so I am guessing the cleaner forgot or kept it for herself. I contacted the owner again several time and he says there is not much he can do and there is no proof of postage either. Word to the wise.... Double check you have everything before you leave because you won't receive it back

Tattershall lakes Nightingale lodge.
We have just stayed for 3 nights and apart from the fishing and hot tub we have to say the place really does need some TLC. It's a beautiful place but very much in need of a good clean and some homely feel. There was a very very bad smell coming from the kitchen and cobwebs everywhere. We tried so hard to find what the smell was but we never did. If you want a homely place that's clean and looked after then this is not it. We did advise the owner of this a couple of years ago but nothing has changed it's only got worse. Sorry for the bad review but needs must.

Very disappointed with the overall location of the lodge on the site: this lodge as absolutely no sunlight at all and his fully in the shade surrounded by its own wood, so while all on site bask in the sun we were shivering in the shade. Had a full week so very disappointed. also we were looking forward to watching the RAF planes going over and again due to position and trees surrounding the lodge there was no visual sight of them. The outside area was lacking in any decent outdoor furniture in comparison to other lodges and no care of the patio area outside had been taken. The area was dirty and needed cleaning and treating. Inside the lodge was fine and comfortable although there is no privacy in terms of sound talking in all rooms and walking around inside was heard in every room. Okay to visit in the winter but avoid for summer months.

Tired lodge in need of a revamp
We have just returned from a weeks stay here & have to admit this place is in need of a spruce up! There was an awful smell coming from the kitchen which we couldn?t work out of it was drains or something rotting, thankfully we had lovely weather & had the doors & windows open which helped but I feel sorry for the people staying here over winter when the place is less ventilated! This place has such potential but could do with a good clean & the cobwebs swept away from the outside as it looks somewhat like a haunted house from the outside! With some clever lighting & more modern interiors this place could be so much nicer & more inviting as are the other lodges at Tattershall. The hot tub is a great addition & was clean & well kept. In summary you get what you pay for here, if you want a more luxurious lodge then stay somewhere else!

Amazing Lodge
Excellent spacious property. The Lodge is located on Duck Lake. All 8 of us have loved staying here and can?t wait to come back, by far one of the best lodges we have ever stayed in! As we went in February none of the facilities on site were open. But even if things were open I don't think we would have bought the passes. Excellent customer service... thanks Dave Would highly recommend to friends and family
