Rowling End House is located in a superb location within the Newlands Valley, just 4 miles from Keswick within the Lake District. Set within private wood land, Rowling End House offers a peaceful tranquil retreat where you can relax and explore the many delights that the lake district has to offer. Wainwright saw Newlands greatest blessing as the undisturbed peace and freedom from mass tourism and commercialisation and today the valley continues to enjoy a relaxed way of life.

Whilst Rowling End is in a delightful secluded position, it is at the heart of the Northern Lakes and within easy distance of Borrowdale, Keswick, Derwentwater and Buttermere - whether by foot, car or bicycle. This is a perfect location for those who enjoy walking with plenty of opportunities directly from the door. Whether you are looking for a full days hiking across the tops of the mountains (especially Catbells which is directly opposite) or a gentle stroll around the valley or down to the lake.

Rowling End offers something for everyone. The land in front of Rowling End through which Newlands Beck flows, belongs to Rowling End, which provides a haven for wildlife including buzzard and deer. Rowling End accommodation comprises of, 2 spacious sitting rooms with comfortable seating, flat screen televisions (freesat), DVD players and open fires (logs supplied) and WiFi.

Four bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms (two king size doubles and two twins in which one of the twins can be made into a superking bedroom). A large family bathroom with roll top bath with views across the Newlands Valley overlooking Catbells, there is also a large walk in shower WC and wash basin.
