Disappointment tempered by pleasant owner.
It was disappointing that our visit was cancelled due to the current situation but I have to say that the owner, Miranda, was very pleasant and helpful to deal with. We will certainly be booking for some time in the future when this situation is over.

Superb service from Owner
Sadly due to Coronavirus our visit will not go to plan and the owner was extremely helpful, kind and accommodating. Very much hope we can visit another time.

Littered with problems then ripped off
Felt the need to write this in order to warn others to avoid. I advance of arrival there was little information provided and there wasn?t really much more upon arrival which is a shame as you expect some guidance when staying in properties like this. Arrived and the property wasn?t as clean as expected so we tried to clean it but the vacuum was broken which is a real pain when you have dogs that shed. So we had to try and repair the vacuum by taking it apart and cleaning parts such as the filter instead of settling in. The kitchen is cold and poorly stocked. For example there are no large glasses so we had to keep making cold drinks. The toaster only did two rounds at a time which isn?t a lot in a property that can take six adults, and there were no large frying pans or similar making cooking difficult. In addition the kitchen had no blinds and so one of the seats in line with the east facing window was impossible to use in the mornings without getting sunlight in your eyes. Although the property took dogs, it had a very low wall with a significant drop below it on one side of the garden which meant we had to be ultra careful with our dogs as they could easily clear it due to their size. The general temperature in the property varied wildly du to the heating being on only for only short periods of time. That meant the house, and particularly the bedrooms, were literally freezing at night. Both myself and my son subsequently developed colds due to this. There were other issues such as there being no clothes dryer and not enough clothes horses meaning we had to buy another. When we got home, despite the property being left significantly cleaner than when we arrived, we were ?fined? by the owner because there was a mud mark on some bedding from when I change my baby on there. Totally ridiculous as it would have easily come out in the wash. Given the choice of cottages in this area. This one is easily avoided and should be.
