The pretty coastal town of Aldeburgh on the river Alde in Suffolk enjoys breathtaking views both seawards and following the River Alde inland. With so much to explore, from lovely coastal walks, world famous golf courses, and boating or kayaking to one of the many Peter-Pan themed islands around the Meare in Thorpeness. Visit the magnificent 12th century castle in Framlingham, or the many stately homes and beautiful beaches along the stunning coastline. Aldeburgh remains an artistic and literary centre as well as a popular destination for holiday makers and sailors.
