Holiday in Wiltshire
Initial impressions were very good. It is super modern, in a beautiful setting. There was a lovely hamper and flowers greeting us, plus both the owners introduced themselves. It is very well placed to access Avebury, Marlborough and Bradford on Avon. It's quiet (other than some road noise) and in a beautiful setting. There is a pub a very short walk away that serves v nice food catering for all diets. There are several walks from the property. There is no bath, but there is a walk in shower and one king size bedroom , one double sofa bed in the lounge and one day bed with an adjoining single on the mezzanine. There is an enclosed private garden with a little balcony and table and chairs. It's a beautiful place and I?d recommend it as a place to stay.

Beautiful family rental property
The Lodge is a beautifully renovated property which comfortably sleeps 5 (3 were teenagers). The property is clean, luxurious and well maintained. It offers many home comforts. We were welcomed to the property with a welcome hamper containing basic essentials of local produce (the ale was extremely tasty). The hamper included doggy treats as this accommodation welcome well behaved pets. Pets aren?t allowed on the soft furnishings which we appreciated. Contact with the property manager prior to our arrival was much appreciated as other facilities were available with prior arrangements such as tennis, horse ridding (experienced riders), local ?taxi service? and baby sitting service. The only facilities which we used were the tennis courts. The other facilities although useful to many were of no benefit to us.The information folder provided about the property was extremely useful as it informed us of the whereabouts of local supermarkets for other essentials needed and suggested take out facilities available locally. The property is ideally situated for exploring the many historic sites in Wiltshire. I would whole heartedly recommend The Lodge as a holiday property.
