Brilliant stay
Huge thank you to Sue and Johnathan for providing such a beautiful house for us to stay in. Clean and modern rooms with plenty of space for all 13 of us!! We stayed for a 30th birthday celebration to which the hosts were very accommodating for. We respectfully played music on our phones with no issues and had the best time, and the girls absolutely loved all the baby lambs and feeding the goats. We just really loved it and will recommend to all our friends, infact we already have. Thank you both.

Not what we expected :(
It is a lovely area, very modern property with beautiful views. Unfortunately, when we booked this place it has been misadverstised, mentioning no neighbours and acceptance of parties, which is exactly what we have been looking for. There are next door neighbors - the owners. Also we have been told that music is not allowed. The owners have been walking into the property whilst we have been inside - without any notice or asking for permission, which made me and other visitors feel very uncomfortable. If you are interested in this property I'd recommend you discuss your planned stay in detail with the owners and record the conversation (to have evidence of what is allowed), so that your stay is enjoyable. I hope the advertisement will be updated accordingly to avoid any further misunderstandings going forward.

An expierance I don't wish anyone to have!
First of all, the area itself is really nice and got a great vibe to it! However, the stay at the property because of its owners, was an absolute nightmare. Full on false advertisement! The place is way smaller than it appears on the images. The discription said no neighbours for obvious privacy reasons, but forgot to mention the very very next door neighbours are the owners themselves!! We weren't allowed to play 'loud' music in the evening time, although it clearly said on the add 'hen/stag doors parties are allowed' which obviously will involve loud music! The owner lady walked in at 10am when everyone was asleep with a large bell and woke everyone up! And forced us to leave in the afternoon for playing loud music over night.

Amazing! Perfect!
Just wanted to leave a review to say we had the best time at the Owl house. We were a group of 7 adults and 4 children and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The couple who owned the property were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Everywhere was clean and spotless for our arrival so you could tell a lot of pride went into the presentation of the place. There was a pack which contained full details or recommendations to eat, where to visit on day trips, and lots of tips etc. Would 100% recommend and would definitely go back! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Emma X

Great retreat in the valleys
Wonderful place for a get-away-from it-all holiday with the whole family including the dog! Feels like you have your own private Welsh valley! Walking is fantastic and we found plenty to do. Lake Vyrnwy is definitely worth at least one visit. The Barn has been beautifully refurbished by the owners Sue and Jonathan who live across the yard in the farm house and are incredibly helpful.
