Wonderful cottage and a perfect location for the Main Street
We have stayed in this beautiful cottage on the upper part off the Main Street of Haworth a stones throw from the parsonage . What a wonderful week we?ve had ! The cottage is ideally located for accessing all there is on the main street . The cottage is beautifully decorated and perfect for a tranquil getaway . Haworth people are so very friendly and welcoming indeed. The parsonage car park is best place to park for convenience as the streets are very narrow and only residents have parking permits so it's best to park there . ?4 per day. ( June 2021 ) There are 2 bedrooms and a Main bathroom upstairs and a downstairs loo. I will be really sad to leave as we have been so comfortable here . Keighley is only 3-4 miles away by car . Haworth train station has the best steam train experiences and the Main Street is full of independent shops pubs and cafes . A true Yorkshire Gem !

Nice inside but location is disappointing
A nice cottage, well equipped and tastefully decorated and furnished. The location lets it down badly. There is a large black SUV parked right outside of the sitting room window. The SUV never moves and blocks the light and any view (see photo of window) It belongs to the hotel across the road. Traffic is an issue, as is parking on the street. Those who stay at the cottage have to pay a daily fee to park on the local council car park but, it seems, neighbours can park on the street 24/7. The cottage is in a busy street in a built up area. The hotel opposite has a popular outside drinking area and there are several nearby pubs. There are people in the street until very late at night and it's quite noisy at the weekend. The garden can only be accessed down some very steep cellar steps or by a precarious path and steps at the side of the building. Dustbins and pallets are stored there and we were put off trying. We enjoyed our stay and love this part of West Yorkshire but would not stay here again. It just wasn't the location we wanted for a week away in Haworth.
