Very grubby and not covid clean !
My wife and I booked salmon fishing on the Kincardine estate beat of The Dee and the website directed us to this Cottage, what a disappointment. We arrived on Sunday 9th May .Perhaps we are more discerning than the previous reviewer but there were numerous problems . On arrival, after a 5 hour journey, there was no key . We called ,who we established was the owner, who said it's lucky we didn't have a long journey ( sarcasm) and the cottage was opened for us. After unloading our car and having time to look around we found dirt encrusted cooker top , greasy oven ,and baking tray , chipped bath , paint drips on bathroom floor, grubby carpets, old mattress in wardrobe , burn on cushion ,chipped and heavily scratched kitchen wall.Saving grace was the bedding, fridge and dishwasher were very clean Our visit was soon after the lifting of lockdown and could not have been used much in 2021 so were the cleaning problems left over from last year ? We actually left on Wednesday 12th I.e 4 days early.

Fantastic holiday with a perfect cottage for a family
