Weeks holiday
Beautiful cottage and setting, this our second holiday to Fisherbeck in 2 years, lovely settings and garden and terrace on the river Cocker second to none, we were left nice welcome pack, Jam, cake and milk, we spent quite a bit of time reading in the conservatory due to the very bad weather but cottage and setting made for a relaxing holiday, only problem was parking we were never able to park outside and had to use the car park across from cottage but were warned off by staff at Boots who left notes on our car on 2 occasions warning us not to park there,a parking permit would eliminate this problem as we had to get up early in the mornings and move our car from overnight parking in Boots car park and keep moving it to different locations in the town, we would love to return to this beautiful cottage but without a parking permit being made available by the owner we would be reluctant to do so. Cockermouth is a lovely little town with very friendly people
