A perfectly wonderful stay!
My sister and I loved the northern Lake District and couldn't have found a more lovely place to stay than The Bothy. The views are beautiful, the heating (which we needed when we stayed!) was brilliant, everything we needed was there. A longer stay than our 4 nights would have been nice! Car parking was easy and well marked. Surprised and pleased to find Dvds and books galore. Nicely maintained. Only downside was an unpleasant smell of mould in the hallway and staircase but we didn't notice it in the apartment itself. Also, the kettle leaked, but apart from that, we would want to stay there again. Anyone who has a car ... go there!
