Pet friendly accommodation Pet Friendly

Dirty, neglected and smoke alarm with no battery
Entry path of uneven slabs, rotting garden seat. Bedrooms damp and musty, spiders and cobwebs everywhere. Kitchen had dirty surfaces, remnants of food in cooker and freezer. Pillows stained, one even had mould on it. Obvious that the house was dog friendly as there was mud and animal hairs on chair. Sykes Cottages unhelpful, said our contract was with the owner. No attempt to move us or compensate us for unsatisfactory state. We found smoke alarm in main house on a shelf with no battery, which must be illegal.
