Great holiday location
A great holiday location well placed for the beaches and within striking distance of St Ives, Falmouth, Truro and Padstow.
A comfortable and clean holiday apartment.
Clearly the owners have upgraded the shower which was new and very powerful.
The apartment was well equipped which a comfy bed.
Good parking and nice outdoor space to enjoy the sunshine after a days adventure.
A great little couples retreat.
Not a nice place used to be cow sheds
Lots of bugs which my wife hated
From centipedes to spiders the bedroom cupboards were crawling in little black mites
DVD player doesn?t work
Door has dropped so hard to open
Musty damp smell
Gutters blocked and comes over very noise in night
Side of main road but no buses nearby
Taxi hard to come by have to book day in advance
Stay away waste of money
Not as expected.
This is in a lovely location but there is a busy road that goes straight past which you would'nt expect, and a beautiful perranporth beach is just 10 minutes drive away and there lovely little town, there is a pub/hotel straight across the road which does lovely food, but as for church view cottage the shower is useless you can not have a proper shower i could not even wash my hair in there was no pressure and we had to buy a shower mat as it was very slippy, considering this is a surfing area you need a good shower, towels and bedding were provided and the towels were damp, dirty and had grass on them, bedding was mismatched and covered in balls of fluff and dirty marks on pillow cases, so we also had to buy towels and some bedding to feel comfortable, there was dirty sticky toaster, tea, coffee tins where dusty/dirty , i would also say anyone booking this area of the church view cottages is not for the young as everyone in these cottages where late 60's / 70's and as we where not allowed to take dogs everyone else had 1 or 2 dogs . but good points great places to visit around perranporth beach amazing, truro lovely and a beautiful cathedral , and St Ives is so lovely everything you could want places to eat, nice little shops, a working pier and lovely little church we visited but i would say it's best to get the park and ride train Leland salting station ?2.80p park and train was only £5.65p for 2 with our 2 together rail card. Lands end great day out and walks £6 park but we were told you can return with it for up to 7 days.
