Drift Cottage is a detached 18th century cottage right on the waterfront in the historic Devon fishing village of Turnchapel. The cottage can sleep six people in three bedrooms over two levels, a ground floor en suite double with doors to a deck and a double with balcony and a twin on the first floor, plus a first floor shower room and a ground floor bathroom. On the ground floor is a kitchen with dining area, a hall and a snug.

Drift Cottage WOW!
We loved, loved, loved Drift Cottage ? POSITIVES (too many to list!) ?Wine, flowers and fresh milk on arrival. ?Cottage spotlessly clean. ?Lovely comfy beds with beautiful bed linen and soft fluffy towels. ?Cottage homely & cosy & yet still spacious. ?Beautiful antique ships wood burner, set and ready to use. ?Fabulous peaceful location with stunning ever changing views. ?Very well equipped kitchen. ?Fishing from the spacious garden and even has its own little shingle beach at low tide! ?Quality furniture with fascinating nautical antiques & artefacts and quirky touches. ?Lots of modern appliances including a fab SONOS sound system that can be played into most rooms and NETFLIX. ?Within staggering distance of 2 good pubs, especially the Clovelly Arms. Great beer, nice atmosphere, open fire and amazing food. Be sure to book a table though as extremely popular, even out of season. The Sunday lunch really was excellent. NEGATIVES ?We didn't want to leave this little home from home. (We contemplated claiming squatters rights, but unfortunately we've got jobs to go to!) Really cannot praise this Cottage highly enough. The 2 dogs, loved it too. ??

what a find
Drift cottage is beautiful. warm cosy and everything you require.beautiful views over to Plymouth. Drift cottage was like living in a maritime museum. The owner should be very proud of the workmanship that was put in to make this cottage what it is.My husband and i really enjoyed the relaxing week we had here. The photos did not do it justice.

Fabulous venue
Drift Cottage was exactly as described - up market and very well presented, clean and comfortable. It was like home from home and the views were phenomenal. The ferry to Plymouth was great and Turnchapel was situated ideally for travelling around the area with easy access to main roads. If the opportunity presented itself in the future we would return. Highly recommended.
