It really is a home from home
This cottage has truly everything and such and a very accommodating friendly landlady. There is a well stocked larder in the cottage and 2 supermarkets Lidl and coop within 2 minute drive. So I would recommend just pack your clothes and check what is already here. We had a lovely stay and would gladly come back

Lovely relaxing break at Spittal Farm, Wigton. The rural setting was perfect & even though yards from a main A road we didn?t hear any traffic noise. The cottage itself was spotlessly very clean & perfectly furnished & had everything to make our stay there comfortable and enjoyable. It is a lovely place to stay & is full of character with the exposed beams. The owner has thought of absolutely everything & what an incredibly pleasant lady & nothing was too much trouble. The site has free WiFi with a Smart TV. The cottage is beautifully decorated with underfloor heating, a real fire-place (though the weather did not demand the fire to be put on). I cannot think of anything that was missing. Everything you'd need is provided, for instance, the dish washer (with tablets)/washing machine/washing up liquid plenty of tea towels/cutlery & extra pillows/towels etc. Everything including the furniture/decor/toiletries was of a high quality. I was so impressed with the finishing of the decor that I am tempted to ask who the person was that decorated the property so I can call him/her to do mine! The landlady had left us a couple of welcome hampers, one with veg (generous quantities of freshly grown vegetables) & also delicious cakes, bread, variety of cheese, milk & breakfast cereal ? these small touches go a long way. There was also heaps of local information with local attractions & menus for local restaurants. The local shops are a 7/8 minute drive away & has all the shops you'd need. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here & we will definitely be going back. Thank you to the owner for thinking of just everything & being so very welcoming. We loved it!
