This place is lovely and the owners are friendly too. Real hidden gem. I will definitely be coming again, would love to see it in the summer!

Lovely relaxing stay
Just had 5 nights at The Cottage. Lovely cottage and can honestly say not a cobweb in sight !. Hot tub was relaxing. Not far Carlisle so we prepaid for train tickets to Edinburgh and had a wonderful first time visit. Totally my fault as I didn?t take notice of the bed size, but the double bed was too small for us as we are both about 6ft. Would definitely recommend for a couples stay Loved the homemade cookies on arrival, after a long journey and the fizz thank you x

Absolutely Beautiful Cottage
Denise and Trevor couldn?t have been more accommodating. We arrived late on a Sunday and met there lovely daughter who showed us round and gave us a heads up on the best restaurants in the area. In the cottage we had a brownies and Prosecco waiting for us along with tea, coffee, sugar and hot chocolate! The cottage and hot tub was beautiful with a river at the bottom. All lovely and clean and fresh. We had an amazing break in the country and would definitely love to go back!

Weekend ?Getaway?
The Mrs and I wanted a weekend away from the daily grind and this cottage was just that. In a beautiful setting with lovely surroundings. A very well equipped cottage perfect for two people. Clean and tidy and the hot tub was fantastic. Perfect getaway to switch off and unwind. When I say switch off - I mean complete digital detox as there is no WiFi or phone signal. Just what the doctor ordered ! Loved the brownies by the way (on a plate ready to eat on arrival). And thanks for the non alcoholic drinks which was a really nice personal touch.

Peaceful and Private.
Excellent well equipped accommodation. Hot tub really good (even in the rain). Danielle and Trevor on hand if needed but never intrusive. Ideal area for exploring the Scottish Borders. We even drove to Kielder in Northumberland. All in all we had a very pleasant short break.
