Beautiful Cottage! Would definitely recommend!
A beautiful cottage with everything you could imagine and more....
We loved staying here! The personal touches on arrival made us feel so welcome right from opening the front door. The kids loved the sweets and the brownies are the best ever!!!
The cottage is so well thought out and has all you would need home from home. The garden & hot tub were lovely to relax in!
Tracey and Mick are both lovely hosts, nothing is too much trouble
Pubs, shops and lovely walks near by, as well as a big park for the kids a short drive away! Honestly we thoroughly enjoyed it and will be sure to return!
Fabulous relaxing little gem of a cottage!
What a lovely little cottage! Nice area for walks out in the countryside. Very close to amenities and pubs (pubs only a short walk away!). We enjoyed the charm of the building with it's oak beams and cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Lovely garden that captures a lot of the sun and with the addition of a well placed hot tub a very relaxing weekend was had. Tracey was a fabulous host and the brownies, Prosecco and the oatcakes were a very welcoming touch. We would thoroughly recommend Rose Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing time in a beautiful little home.
My husband, me and our dog Blue had 4 wonderful nights at Rose cottage.
The cottage is beautiful and clean with loads of amenities.
You can watch the massive TV, relax in the amazing garden, float in the hot tub or play on the Xbox.
We did them all and still had time to enjoy just relaxing in a perfect gem of a cottage.
The cottage is in the centre of a small village and there was everything you could wish for on the doorstep; local bars, restaurants, takeaways, a fish and chip shop,a supermarket,a butcher, a baker, (no candlestick maker though).
Lastly; the surrounding area is stunming. We went to Dimmingsdale for a fabulous walk in the Churnett Valley; followed by a light lunch at the Ramblers Retreat.
We absolutely loved it, the dog is still depressed because we had to come home.
Feet up and comfortable
A brief birthday break that needed a little bit of everything. In house rooms, all pleasingly decorated and well equipped, comfortable beds, nice and clean. Good sized kitchen because everyone knows the best parties are always in the kitchen. Local pubs within a hop skip and a jump with decent beers and food choice. Curry house just around the corner ticked another box on the todo list, finally retiring with a hot tub waiting to be explored.
Did I mention the brownies the owner left as part of the welcome pack...lovely thought...did I mention I should be on a diet... oh well...yum yum.
Cosy Cottage, brilliant location
We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage, great location, couple of pubs in the village and nice Indian restaurant. Centrally situated to easily access the Peak District & Staffordshire Moorlands, Monkey Forest, Alton Towers, Gladstone Pottery Museum & Leek was really nice to walk around with loads of independent shops. The cottage was spotlessly clean (we found out the owners even empty the hot tub water and clean it after every visit), cosy and welcoming, just like the owner who even baked us some delicious brownies for our arrival. Would definitely recommend, we'll be returning.
