Outstanding place to stay
Just come back from a weeks stay at Roselea house. From beginning to end you couldn?t ask for more. We arrived and were given a warmly welcome by Olwyn. He went through everything we needed to know which was great after a long journey. The cake, wine and flowers were a lovely touch. I bought things from home ie dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets etc but wasn?t needed as everything had been thought of even down to wellies and dog towels! The house itself was spotlessly clean and immaculately presented throughout. The enclosed garden was secure for our 2 spaniels. I can?t recommend this place enough! Close by is Bempton cliffs which give amazing views! We also visited Filey, Bridlington, Whitby and Scarborough which are all close by. Filey having a Doggy Deli which our dogs had great pleasure visiting! We visited The white horse pub around the corner which does great food and was very welcoming as we hadn?t booked a table. Also another pub we would recommend is the martonian in Bridlington. We visited a few times as they were dog friendly. Couldn?t fault the food and the service! Thank you Olwyn and Jill for making our break very special.

Absolutely perfect- would highly recommend.
Visited Easter Bank Holiday weekend with a group of friends, and had an excellent weekend. The cottage is in a beautiful location, furnished to a high standard and is also impeccably clean. There is lots of communal space to spend time in- which was perfect for us. The owners, Gill and Olwyn, couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly, which just topped our stay off. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay again, its a hidden gem. I'd highly recommend a visit.

Fantastic Easter Break
Just returned from a weekend break at Roselea House, can't thank Gill and Olwyn enough for their very generous hospitality! The house is beautifully decorated, with a lot of love and attention to detail clearly having gone into its presentation. It is also impeccably clean, and the bedrooms are light and airy with comfortable beds. The facilities are great - the house was equipped with everything you could possibly need including washing machines, towels, bed linen, etc. The house itself is only a stone's throw from Bempton Cliffs, and is also only a short walk to the local pub which serves lovely food. The house's location is also very handy for day trips to the nearby seaside towns of Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. I would not hesitate to stay again and will be very highly recommending Roselea House to friends and family looking for a quality getaway on the Yorkshire Coast.

We've just returned from a lovely week long stay at Roselea House The photos certainly don't do it justice. It's a very clean, comfortable and well appointed property ideally located within walking distance of a nice local pub. A popular place to eat on a Friday and Saturday so booking essential on those days Pub quiz on a Tuesday but get your thinking caps on and make sure you're there for 8 to get a seat Back to the house. 2 living rooms meant we had space to ourselves should you wish that and a great kitchen for cooking and eating in 1 shower room and 1 bathroom. And a third wc meant we never had to wait around in a morning to get ready for our day exploring the Yorkshire Coast Gill and Olwyn were great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Great cake too !! Will recommend to friends
