A much-needed holiday in a lovely house.
Our week in Earlsfold was just what we needed! After lockdown and Covid restrictions the comfort and space were a welcome relief. Our daughter and her family should have stayed but were hit by increased restrictions in Manchester, so it was just three of us to enjoy the lovely house and garden. We were very lucky with the weather so made good use of the conservatory and garden during the week, with several meals at the big garden table. Paul, the owner. was very helpful, and made sure we were able to store our bikes safely out of the way.
The beds were very comfortable, kitchen appliances and shower, etc, worked well. There are plenty of walks from the door or within a short drive, either the huge skies of the Fylde or the fells of the Forest of Bowland.
We're looking forward to visiting again when all six of us can share this lovely house and enjoy meals round the big dining table then sitting in front of the fire.

Visit to Earlsfold
We recently stayed at Earlsfold for our summer holiday. We were origionally booked to go Florida however Covid-19 put a stop to that so we booked this lovely cottage. We are a family of 5, two adults 3 children (15,10,3) plus a 5 month old labrador. It is conviniently located about an hour from windermere. We had a lovely meal at the Golden Fleece in the next village and enjoyed drinks next door at the barn.
We could not fault Earlsfold, the parking outside was very convinient. We enjoyed spending time in the large enclosed private garden at the rear of the cottage. Inside was just perfect too. The period features were amazing. There was so much space for us all to spread out but we all liked cosying up infront of the fire on an evening. The kitchen was very well equiped with a large fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and large range cooker. We pre ordered a asda delivery which arrived without any problems.
The cottage was imacultae and we are trying to work out when we can return.

Family Weekend
A lovely cottage with all the amenities a family needs. It has everything, the large dinng table was great for family meals and playing games and the open log fire was cosy into the night. It has great character and charm with a big garden for the kids to enjoy. Set in the village of Scorton. We will definitely be booking Earlsfold again for another family long weekend! 5 stars! Thanks
