Not as described
We stayed here for the Easter Week as the layout suited our purposes perfectly. So that the review is not wholly negative I have to say that the garden is superb, and that the beds, linen and towels are all of very good quality. The kitchen too was very well stocked with plenty of cutlery, plates, pots and pans. Unfortunately upon arrival we needed to hoover the living room as there were crumbs on the floor, the Hoover was pretty useless probably hence the crumbs. Unfortunately the general state of cleanliness in the house was poor. Whilst the showers and toilets had been cleaned, there was dust and grime on the floors and skirting boards that hadn?t been cleaned in a long while. The downstairs bathroom appears to have been ripped from another property and badly reassembled with big holes of filler and grout, the toilet seat a death trap as it slid of when you sat on it! Milk stains on the vinyl floor near the fridge and coffee cup rings on the floor in the outside bedroom. The Sykes holiday cottages website mentions a pristine kitchen with a breakfast bar. It is far from pristine and there is no breakfast bar. The Hall way and part of the kitchen appears to have been tiled on top of a wooden floor. A good 20% of these tiles are cracked and more have lifted which is a serious danger to anyone with nothing on their feet. I don't like posting negative reviews but having paid over £1k for the week (Easter a premium) I feel sadly let down. The write up does not match the reality.

a perfect getaway
I stayed with a small group of friends earlier in the year and it was the perfect getaway retreat. The cottage has everything needed for a lovely stay including plenty of off road parking , a well equipped kitchen , beautifully decorated lounge and bedrooms and a dining conservatory with a lovely garden view from where you can see the sea. We walked down to the beach from the house across the fields the walk begins just behind the cottage it took us about 20 minutes and lead to one of anglesey's many beautiful beaches. I will definitely be returning to this cottage.

Cosy Retreat
We (5 of us)stayed here for a long weekend. It was a perfect getaway from city life. My second trip to this cottage. It has beautiful surroundings to wake up to with views over the fields to the sea. The beds are incredibly comfy A lovely garden to wander round with lots of wildlife to spot. Lots to do during the day. We visited Beaumaris, went on a boat trip, took walks along beaches. And coming back to a lovely warm cottage with big, sumptuous sofas and blankets to snuggle up with, made for a perfect ending to our days. I only wish we?d had longer.

Stayed here , with a party of 7 ,Would not recommend, cracked floor tiles in hall dangerous , games room a joke cold garage , conservatory leaks onto wine fridge and light ball , weird neighbours , outhouse/ outside bedroom was drafty and dusty , no TV in outhouse bedroom , only 3 bathrooms, when booked said 6 , booking in time from 10am , then told 3pm left a day early .... offered to meet owner at cottage but they have decided, hopefully all work is carried out be , this would be a nice cottage just needs finishing to a higher standard...

Fabulous setting
I stayed here earlier this year with a group of friends and can?t wait to revisit soon. The weather was awful but I loved looking at the amazing garden with all sorts of birds, from the comfort of the cosy conservatory. The house was great, fully equipped with everything you could possibly want ( heals hand wash and nespresso coffee maker!!). Even though the Beast from the East was doing it's worst, we still enjoyed a bracing walk along the coast which started just behind the house at Lligwy beach. A great place for hanging out with friends, easy to find with plenty going on nearby. Couldn?t be better.
