Fabulous Holiday
My partner and I stayed for a week and the property was amazing and the host Sarah was also really attentive and helpful just checking in via text to make sure all was ok. The dogs loved the garden and the decked area is amazing with a lovely view. We plan to stay again as soon as we can, there is so much to do just a short drive away as well as some lovely walks from the doorstep. The house is very well equipped but has a homely feeling.

Welcoming, well equipped and a good base for Snowdonia
The house was well prepared for our visit and very well set out for a comfortable stay. North Wales went into Lockdown that week but as Blaenau Ffestiniog is in a low Covid-19 rate area we were little affected. The view is spectacular although this being a Welsh autumn it was too cool and damp to make much use of the garden seating areas. The walking in the Moelwyns is good with a wide choice of routes. Take care to keep away from the slate heaps though.

Great place for a family
Lovely cottage, beautifully finished with a superbly equipped kitchen. As we stayed in an exceptionally wet and cold February the log burner was a necessity but keep us very cosy and the games cupboard was helpful too. Great location lots of places to see and activities to do for all ages. Would recommend

Perfect pet-friendly cottage, brilliant location for exploring Snowdonia
Cottage is absolutely lovely, as others have said a real home from home and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen and dining area are especially fab (I had kitchen envy!). Special note: unlike alot of rental properties we've stayed in, the kitchen was really well stocked with lots of mugs, glasses, wine glasses etc - quite literally everything you could think of and plenty of them too (so you don't have to wash up every 5 minutes). Beds were extremely comfortable and bedrooms spacious. Lots of information in the cottage on great local walks and things to do prepared by the owner - we did quite a few and highly recomend the Tan-y-Grisiau reservoir (finished off with a fab all day breakfast at the car park cafe!). Allow a good couple of hours for this walk. Brilliant base for getting to Snowdonia and Betws y Coed (waterfalls) and obviously for all the Zip World locations which were a big hit with the teenagers. Really feel like we got away from it all and fell in love with area and The Old Post Office. Would happily, and will hopefully, go back for another stay.

Great accommodation
This is a great base to visit Snowdonia National Park. There are great walks around the area and the locals are very friendly. We were amazed by the owners attention to detail, the kitchen is very large and well equipped with good quality crockery, glassware and cutlery. There is even a wine fridge. The Prosecco, welsh cakes and even a dog treat was a nice touch as a welcome. All the rooms are very well decorated and presented, the towels were of good quality. There are great views of the mountains from the back terraces. We would definitely stay here again.
