Fabulous Cottage in the heart of Durham countryside.
My husband and I stayed in this fabulous cottage in Witton Gilbert at the beginning of October and had a fantastic week. It is beautifully finished to an incredibly high standard and they have provided everything you need to make your stay enjoyable, including kitchen equipment and very comfortable beds, we even received a lovely welcome package to help us settle in. The cottage is very homely and is one of the cleanest places we have stayed. The bathrooms were sparkling and there is a wood burner to fire up on those chilly nights which adds to the cosiness and comfort of the property. The location was ideal for visiting the beautiful City of Durham and the Northumberland coast and we have already planned all the other easily accessible places to visit when we return to Nes Cottage next year.
