Sunflower Cottage is a delightful, detached, stone-built cottage located in the heart of the picturesque hamlet of Eglingham and offers a real slice of country life. This home from home presents charming and spacious, but cosy accommodation throughout which is perfect for families and couples looking for a superb retreat for that much-needed break at any time of the year. With wonderful mature gardens to the front and rear, enjoy breath-taking views of the medieval church of St Maurice, surrounding open countryside and the tranquil village which has an award winning public house only 100 yards away.

Sunflower Cottage is a truly peaceful haven allowing you to relax and really enjoy and embrace the Northumbrian scenery at its best. Eglingham is within easy reach from the historic town of Alnwick which has a huge amount of amenities including supermarkets, restaurants and the world famous Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens and the spectacular Northumberland Heritage Coastline is just 12 miles away. ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR Formal living room with comfy seating, Smart TV and multi-fuel stove.

Kitchen / dining room with electric Range Master oven and hob, Nespresso coffee machine, electric flame fire, digital radio. Traditional farmhouse style dining table with seating for 6 guests Utility room with washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and basin.

Ground floor WC and wash hand basin. FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 1 with king-size bed, chest of drawers, hanging space and views of Church of St Maurice and countryside. En suite shower room with walk-in shower, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2 with two single beds, and chest of drawers. Bedroom 3 with king-size bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and views out across the countryside. Family bathroom with large walk-in shower cubicle, separate bath, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

OTHER FACILITIES Beautiful wrap around gardens combining a variety of blooms, butterfly bushes, sunflowers and apple trees, lawn area to the front and a private rear gravel patio with outdoor table and seating. (Please note the garden is not enclosed) Oil central heating. All power, bed linen and towels included in rent.

Starter pack of fuel for fires provided. Private allocated parking for 2 cars outside of property. Accepts 1 well-behaved dog.
