Homely cosy cottage
Had a lovely few days at this cottage. Was very clean and tidy.
Stone floors but cottage was lovely and warm.
Kitchen has a fridge only no freezer, however there is a well stocked Spar round the corner which includes a butcher.
Surrounding area is beautiful.
Would definitely stay here again. Definitely recommended

Wonderful
After a long drive we were ready to arrive, no problems as the directions provided were spot on. Parking at the rear of the cottage and accessing the keys was straightforward. We found the cottage exactly as described and spotlessly clean. The little welcome pack was great for a first cuppa. We loved the cottage and were especially pleased with the comfortable beds and peaceful garden. This is a lovely historic cottage in an ideal location for exploring the numerous nearby beaches and attractions.
This is our first time in a UK holiday rental and we'll definitely return to 1 Borthwen Cottages, it's delightful.

Absolutely wonderful stay
I stayed at 1 Borthwen Cottages for a stay-cation over the Easter break. I had such a lovely time! I would highly recommend a break here (but don't make the same mistake I did ? book more than 2 nights!) for any and all.
The cottage is perfectly located between Barmouth and Llanbedr, within easy access of several beautiful beaches, plenty of lovely walks and a plethora of things to do. It's easy to find and within a 1 minute walk of a shop that has everything you need for essentials, while Barmouth has bigger shops to fill up the fridge.
The cottage has everything that you need from a fridge to a microwave, as well as an oven. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are extremely comfortable. The two lounges to relax in are perfect in the evening, and we really made the most of the lovely self-contained garden.
I have already booked my return trip and can?t wait to come back!

Stunning home away from home
We have just spent the most magical week in this beautiful cottage.
Every room has been decorated with care. The whole cottage is full of character. The wood burning fire make every evening warm and cosy especially when you get back from a walk to the beach to witness a spectacular sunset.
The garden is great and when the sun was shining we spent the afternoon listening to birds and just enjoying the Welsh countryside.
We will be back again soon
